

He attended the Art College in Brescia and he graduated at the Milan Fine Arts Academy in 1980.
The first monograph dedicated to his production was published in 1986, with the tile "Luca Dall'Olio, a young prince in the empire of signs. In 1990, the monograph ""Sentimental Sedimentations" was published for the exhibition at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara.
The artist exhibited his production in many fairs and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He participated at the Miami International Expo, the Artmultiple in Dusseldorf and the New York Art Expo,and Strart in Strasburg. Luca dall'Olio made a large mosaic (20 m2) for the subway station ""Villa Bonelli" in Rome.
In 1996, the artist started to work on luxury ships of the Royal Caribbean Cruise fleet in Miami with large works of art.
Luca Dall'Olio observes and is inspired by his frequent travels around the world. He also made several editions of graphic works. He participated to the 12th Four-Year national Exhibit in Rome.
He exhibited his works at the Ischia Pithecusae Museum. He also participated, with some of his works, at the exhibits: ""from Picasso to Botero" at the Museum of Modern Art in Arezzo and at Palazzo Albertini in Forli', and at the State Archives in Rome, with the title ""Artists in the Archive".
Kuratorium Komende Lengmoos Renon. The monograph "What dream is" was published in 1999 followed by the monograph "To write a poem" published in 2005 suggested by the artcritics Vittorio Sgarbi and Luciano Caprile.
In 2006 the Foundation of Museo Crocetti in Rome, organizes a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the artist and for the occasion publishes the catalogue "The desires of the day".
In the same year, Gabriele Boni writes the monograph "Under open sky".
In 2007 , connected to the exhibition in the Cominelli Foundation, the monograph "Utopia linfa creativa-Luca Dall'Olio e il moderno sogno".
At Re'al Circulo Atistico-Museo Dali', Barcelona he introduces "Sobra el Papel".
He exhibited his works at "Biennale di Venezia 54", Italy Pavilion, and exposure "Meridiano Acqua Meridiano Fuoco" in Venice
