LUCA DALL'OLIO

Luca Dall'Olio was born in Chiari (Brescia). After attending the Liceo Artistico Foppa in Brescia, he graduated from the Brera Academy of Art and immediately began his artistic career.

In 1986, the first monograph dedicated to his work was published, entitled 'Luca Dall'Olio, un giovane principe nell'impero dei segni', followed by 'Sedimentazioni Sentimentali', another monograph published in 1990 on the occasion of the exhibition in the prestigious Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara.
In 2002, the artist created an important 20 m2 mosaic for the Villa Bonelli underground station in Rome.

The artist's main medium of expression is oil painting, but his works include silk-screen printing, sculpture and photography. The tools used are acrylic paint, gold leaf, lead, wood, steel, iron and copper. His travels to discover the world and the most hidden places in his beloved Italy have always been an endless source of inspiration for the artist and an opportunity to filter and reinterpret faces, landscapes, cities and distant cultures. Inspiration and great respect are also shown for the work of expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

Dall'Olio has exhibited and exhibited at national and international galleries and museum institutions, and at modern and contemporary art fairs, such as Miami International Expo and Art Expo in NY.
He exhibited at Palazzo Oddo in Albenga (Savona) the personal exhibition 'Dell'anima il paesaggio' and at the Fortezza Spagnola in Porto Santo Stefano 'I paesaggi dell'anima'.
